This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit meridianinno.com, or use the Apps provided by Meridian Innovation.

When you are using the Apps provided by Meridian Innovation, we may collect certain information which may include any or all of the following: your device, IP address, time zone, authentication information such as username and password you used to login to our services, first name and last name, nickname, email address, demographic location, thermal and visual camera data (if present), and information about the timing, frequency and patterns of usage, the device and other IDs (which may include any of the following: an IMEI number, MAC address, Widevine device ID, Firebase installation ID or advertising identifier), Crash logs, Diagnostics, and App performance data.

HOW PERSONAL INFORMATION IS COLLECTED
We collect Device Information using the following technologies for our website:

- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

- “Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

For the App provided by Meridian Innovation, there are 3 ways information may be collected:

- you provide the data voluntarily, when you register with us by setting up accounts and provide the information such as (but not limited to) time zone, authentication information you used for our services, first name and last name, nickname, email address, and demographic location.

- you grant device permission during App usage, which may include, but not limited to, access to device cameras, thermal camera (if present), camera roll, photos, location services, and data storage on the device.

- information automatically collected by the App, such as information on how you use our App.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Device Information we collect when you visit our website to communicate with you and help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).  We use the information to provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the information that we collected when you are using our App generally to operate the App and enable you to use the App features, to establish and maintain your account, to communicate with you about the App, and to perform analysis about the App for App improvement.

Subject to you explicitly selecting certain functionality from the user interface of the App, we may use the thermal data to provide information to you, for example, the temperature of the target observed by the thermal camera, or attempt to infer the core body temperature of a human subject, if such a subject is detected in the field of view of the camera.

Additionally, subject to your permission, we may use the thermal sensor data to analyze the performance of the thermal sensor.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

As described above, we may use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. We may update this privacy policy from time to time without prior notice in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. We encourage you to refer to this Privacy Policy on an ongoing basis so that you are aware of the current terms.
